Education

The Education Ministry offers high quality spiritual growth educational opportunities for people of all ages.

The Education Committee encompasses all facets of the educational needs of our congregation from preschool through adult. We offer many different classes ranging from those designed to teach biblical basics (for all ages) to those that challenge us and make us think (for adults)! The Education team also oversees Cradle Roll, 2nd grade Bible presentation, 5th grade First Communion, 6th grade Bible Bonanza, 7th and 8th grade Confirmation.

Sunday School
Our Sunday School program happens between services on Sunday morning and is split into three 20-minute segments during which grades K-8 rotate from station to station.  These stations can include crafts, games, drama, science and more all geared towards the story of the week.  High School students in grades 9-12 meet in our Youth room during the Sunday School hour to participate in interactive hands-on bible study focusing on current events and high school survival skills.

Throughout the Sunday School year, two service projects take place: a world project and a local charity project.  Past service projects have included: Samaritan's Purse Christmas Boxes, Compassion International, and food drives for the local food bank.

In December, the Sunday School classes celebrate Christmas by having a Sunday School Christmas Program for the congregation.

Adult Education
Many adults enjoy our wide array of bible study opportunities that focus on daily faith topics.

Vacation Bible School
We invite the children of our congregation and children in the surrounding communities to join us for our summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) program. VBS is a fun, multi-day program focused on telling the stories of the Bible in a fun environment.
