First Ladies Mission: To mobilize women to act boldly on their in faith in Jesus Christ.
We have a threefold purpose: Bible Study, Fellowship, and Inreach,
the later being things we can do to make First Lutheran
an even better place. The women's ministries in our
congregation provide a rich opportunity for women to
be partners with God in building a faith community with
strong interpersonal relationships and commitment to
nurturing the discipleship of God's people.
First Lutheran has 3 active women's groups. The age
range is 20's to 80's!
- Lydia Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday
of the month at 10:00AM at the church. Lydia circle
will be doing the Lutheran Woman Today Bible Study
and Brenda Jacob is the leader.
- Priscilla Circle meets at the church
and is run by Vicky Kirkpatrick.
- The Quilt Circle meets the second
Monday of the month at 7:00PM at church. They are
currently making lap quilts for Children Who Witness
Violence. Carol Jankura is the leader.
